Black Moon was the recipient of the Australian Cinematography Society, NSW Annual Award for Best Cinematography 2021 and the Byron Bay Underground Film Festival Best Cinematography Award, also in 2021. It was also Highly Commended for the 2022 Monster Children Short Film Awards and Runner Up for the 2022 Sony Catchlight Film Festival for Best Non Fiction Category.

A short film focusing on devoted Australian photographer, Trent Mitchell and his experimental pursuits with the medium of photography. The film documents the creative process Trent takes to achieve his latest bodysurf series: Inner Atlas.
